Hi, I'm Teri.

I'm a small-town girl from a lakeside community in Tennessee—a mother of three, grandmother of four (with one more on the way), dog lover, nature lover, and someone lucky enough to call my husband my greatest asset and biggest supporter.

As for art? I never took the traditional route. I've been making things for as long as I can remember, but I didn't begin taking my own creative voice seriously until later in life. I am entirely self-taught, learning through curiosity, experimentation, mistakes, and the simple act of showing up to create.

I'm drawn to color, form, texture, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments. I rarely stay in one lane for long. One season you may find me painting flowers and gardens; the next, horses, old barns, rivers, trees, or the faces of strangers. Following curiosity has become part of my process, and I hope I never outgrow it.

I believe art should be accessible—not intimidating. I believe creativity belongs to everyone, not just those with formal training or fancy titles. I believe exploration matters more than perfection. And I believe original art doesn't belong only in galleries—it belongs in homes, on well-loved walls, and woven into everyday life.

My work is primarily created in acrylics, though I often wander into mixed media, collage, textiles, and whatever else captures my imagination. Oh, and keep your eyes open for my art journals.

Most of all, I'm grateful you found your way here. I hope my work brings a little beauty, connection, or a reminder to slow down and notice the simple things that make life meaningful.
