Buckeye — Specimen No. 13 — is an original acrylic painting from the Wild Meadow Butterfly Series.

Deep navy and teal dominate the wings in bold, painterly strokes — layered with burnt orange, red, and gold that radiate outward from the body like stained glass. Vivid eye spots anchor each wing, ringed in chartreuse and centered with electric blue, the white textured background reinforces the naturalist specimen feel — scientific in structure, wild in color.
