Fold — Specimen No. 1 — is an original acrylic painting from the Wild Meadow Butterfly Series.

Deep teal and forest green anchor the upper wings, edged with copper and jewel-toned eye spots. The lower wings open in warm blush and amber, petal-soft against a creamy, textured background.

Artist Note: Fold was the first — the one that set the tone for the whole series. There's an asymmetry to it that feels honest. Not every wing opens the same way. —Teri
