Fragment — Specimen No. 3 — is an original acrylic painting from the Wild Meadow Butterfly Series.

Chartreuse and olive sweep across the wings in bold, graphic strokes, cut through with deep forest green and warm amber. Crimson eye spots ringed in soft lavender punctuate each wing — vivid, almost electric against the creamy textured background.

Artist Note: Fragment came together in pieces — color by color, mark by mark. That’s where the name came from, little fragments, marks and shapes. —Teri
