Lift — Specimen No. 2 — is an original acrylic painting from the Wild Meadow Butterfly Series.

Deep forest green and near-black upper wings are scattered with crimson dots and golden oval markings outlined in lavender. The lower wings open into chartreuse and olive, with large window-like ovals rimmed in periwinkle. Bold, graphic, and full of contrast — grounded and electric at the same time.

Artist Note: Lift surprised me. The upper and lower wings feel like two different conversations — and somehow they agree. —Teri
