Once is a portrait of a retired racehorse — quiet, dignified, and full of character. A piece that holds its own on any wall and rewards a close look.

Artist Note: I had no plan to make this painting. What started was canvas, collage paper, antique ledger paper, and paint. It started evolving into a horse with a story to tell. I decided he is frame worthy. – Teri
