Papillon — Specimen No. 15 — is an original acrylic painting from the Wild Meadow Butterfly Series.

Bands of scarlet, burnt orange, and golden yellow sweep across the upper wings like a compressed sunset — giving way to deep violet in the lower wings with moody intensity. A border of teal-ringed eye spots traces the entire wingspan.
