Shift — Specimen No. 6 — is an original acrylic painting from the Wild Meadow Butterfly Series.

Deep plum and burgundy anchor the center, fanning out into golden khaki wings edged in burnt orange and red. Clusters of dark eye spots outlined in cream repeat across all four wings — deliberate, almost heraldic in their symmetry.

Artist Note: Shift felt like a turning point in the series. The palette went somewhere darker, richer. I let it. —Teri
