Known Places

Known Places is a collection of original contemporary landscape paintings inspired by the quiet beauty of Kentucky Lake, the Tennessee River, and the back roads of Tennessee. Working from my own photographs and memories, I simplify familiar places into layered color, expressive brushwork, and atmospheric light.

These aren't paintings of famous destinations—they're paintings of the places we return to again and again. The winding roads, quiet shorelines, country fields, and everyday landscapes that become part of our lives without us even realizing it.

Each original acrylic painting is hand-created to capture the feeling of returning home: the comfort of familiar places, the changing light of the seasons, and the beauty found in ordinary moments.
